The president of the French "Sanofi" company, Olivier Poggio, said that the price of the potential vaccine that his company is developing to fight the Corona virus is likely to be less than 10 euros per dose.

Poggio added to "France Inter" radio: "The price has not been fully determined ... We are assessing production costs for the coming months ... it will be less than 10 euros (equivalent to 11.80 US dollars)."

He stated that millions of people, if not billions, need the vaccine.

Last June, French President Emmanuel Macron visited one of the factories of the French pharmaceutical company, where "Sanofi" stated at the time that it would invest 610 million euros in research related to the development and production of vaccines in the country.

Last July, the French "Sanofi" company and its British rival, "Glaxo Smithkline", announced that they had agreed on a deal worth one billion euros with the US government to develop a possible vaccine against the Corona virus.
