The English Premier League announced on Wednesday, the launch of the summer transfer market for 2020, which will extend for ten weeks
The transfer period will start from July 27, and end on October 5.
The deadline remains pending the approval of the FIFA.
"After consulting the second division, only a period of local transfers will be added from the 5th to the 16th of October," the association said in an official statement.
She continued: "During this period, the Premier League clubs can conclude contracts with second-class clubs, whether loan or final transfer, but transfers between the Premier League clubs will not be allowed in this period."
The association’s decision to extend the transfer period is due to the Corona virus pandemic, which has suspended football activity for nearly three months in the country.
