Japanese Economy Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura stressed that there is no need to declare a new emergency due to the Corona virus, despite the increase in infections.

The minister added today, Wednesday, that if the serious cases remain low and there is no pressure on the health system, the state of emergency will not be declared.

But he pointed to an increase in the number of cases that cannot be detected and injuries of the elderly, saying "it is necessary to deal with the feeling of the crisis."
